Engineering is part of our life. We enjoy designing and seeing the projects we design come to life. We are present at every stage of a project, from the conceptual phase through to commissioning, and we support the companies we work with along the way.
We develop economical and practical alternatives for our solution partners. We offer projects that save time by also taking labour and assembly ease into account.
Müge AÇIKALIN ALTUNLU (Co-Founder)
She graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University in 1999. She gained 14 years of engineering and project management experience at one of Turkey's leading design firms. She worked on, and held management roles in, international projects covering post-tensioned reinforced concrete silos, prestressed-girder bridges, equipment foundations, and reinforced concrete and steel buildings. In 2015 she left the firm she worked for and founded MARTE.
She left us in March 2023 and continues to inspire us...
Kartal ALTUNLU (Co-Founder)
He graduated from Gazi University, Department of Civil Engineering, in 2002. In 2008, he completed his master's degree in Structural Mechanics at the Department of Civil Engineering of Middle East Technical University. He worked as a project manager for more than 12 years at one of Turkey's leading design firms and took part in PMP (Project Management Professional) certification training. He has worked with renowned international firms on many projects. In 2015 he left the firm he worked for and founded MARTE.
After starting work at MARTE, he became interested in BIM (Building Information Modelling) and managed a large-scale project delivered through BIM. He currently provides engineering and project management services to various companies.
He holds the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) BIM Project Management certification.
